Hello in 2009! 

I'll be home later this year--plan is to get home about mid-August, and stay until February 2010.  But there is plenty to do here before then--we need additional funds by at least mid-year, we hope to improve our strategic plan, Interserve would love to welcome more new partners.  But praise God, we've had 2 new families (Korean and British) and a single (Canadian) join us in 2008! 

Bangladesh is perhaps a safer alternative to some other regional countries.  Now with very positive results from the  Dec. 29, 2008 national election, we hope 2009 will be a productive one with Bangladesh hoping to rise to middle income country status.  I will be surprised if much of that development reaches remote rural Bangladesh however.

Thanks for your support, prayers, and patience.  I love my work in Bangladesh, and I love you all--family and friends--so I want to bring those 2 together as much as I can.
